Day 2

25 May 2016

9-10am: Theory (Generators)
10-11am: Break
11am-12:30pm: Preparing for presentation
12:30-2pm: Lunch
2-3:30pm: Presentation

We got to use a hand-held crank DC generator that we could use to power a light bulb and the motor built.

After lunch, we prepared our presentations and then presented. While we did not place anywhere near first place, we did do our best.

Today I learned about Fleming's Right-Hand rule as well, which is used to determine the direction of the electrical current, direction of force or magnetic field.

Now that I have learned about DC motors, I would like to know how AC motors work.

Onwards! To new knowledge!
